High Reach Double Deep Forklift Operator

Programmed Skilled Workforce are currently seeking reliable and experienced High reach Forklift Operators (that are confident operating double deep forklifts) to join our new client site that is in the process of opening in Dandenong South!

Or client is a cheese manufacturing site looking for casual employees wanting that are wanting to gain employment within a new site with new opportunities.

This role will involve working in and out of chiller and freezer environments.


Duties and responsibilities involved but not limited to:

• General Storeperson duties
• Unloading/loading of trucks (on docks, containers, tautliners, flat beds, pan, etc)
• Servicing production
• Completing prestart checklist or inspections
• Completing QA and or food compliance paperwork
• Downstacking / breaking down pallets
• Double deep
• Drive in reach (in freezer)
• Putaways

Desirable Skills are:

• Proven High reach forklift driving experience (over 12 months experience)
• Confident working with Double Deep racking
• Skilled at maneuvering a forklift in tight corners and narrow aisles
• Comfortable working in a very large warehouse
• Be physically fit and able to lift to repetitively when required
• Have a Positive and Reliable attitude.
• Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the business
• Able to work in cold storage environments (2*c to -2*c).
• Heavy lifting up to 25kgs repetitive
• Be available to work Monday to Friday
• Have a good understanding of GMP
